Fury FC 115’s Sean King: Big Aspirations for 2026

Sean King marched into the cage at Fury FC 111 against Tony Toro with a +140 price tag on him. Despite being a sizeable underdog and having roughly one-third of the experience of his opponent, he breezed through the fight hardly breaking a sweat in the process. Now heading towards another big fight with over a dozen times the number of fights of him, he’s not worried. In fact, he’s already thinking about making quick turnarounds.

“Ideally, you know, it’s good to get a nice little three to four month break. You know, you just hit a weight cut and I’m pretty big for the weight class,” King explained. “So it’s always good to kind of chill and fill back out, you know, let the body rest. But every other month I could push for it for sure and make something happen. You know, if I stay on top of everything every other month and injury-free, we’ll see what happens.”

Part of that desire for clean fights and quick turnarounds comes from his big aspirations this year. Despite being quite young, he feels if he can rip off some fights early this year, he may be looking at something big in the fall.

“I’m still 22 years old. I have years ahead of me, you know, so the perfect 2026 is me going, winning three more fights this summer and getting that call up on a Contenders Series and showing out,” he said. “But if it doesn’t happen, I’ll be looking to be like 6-0 or 7-0 at the end of the year. I think that’s an ideal 2026 for me.”

Although he’s got his eyes on the future, that doesn’t mean that he has forgotten the present. In fact, he has all of his attention on the task at hand, which at the moment is Dumar Roa.

“I think he’s like 5’8″, and we all know I have very good distance range management. So I’m going to go in there, I’m going to pick him apart and just be a step ahead,” King said. “I’m going to set the pace early, dude. I’m just getting his face and I’m going to wear him out.”

With that gameplan on the table, he feels he’s going to make this one a quick night and head on to those bigger and better things.

“I’m putting this dude away,” he said. “I’m getting him out of there and we’re going to keep climbing.”

You can catch King’s figh with Dumar Roa as part of the Fury FC 115 main card. The main card begins at 9pm EST this Friday and airs on UFC Fight Pass.
