The promotion’s bantamweight champion, in the midst of a 14-fight win streak, is looking to become the first champ to defend a UFC title four times in a calendar year. Standing in his way, Petr Yan, a former champion himself in the weight class, one who Dvalishvili defeated on his way to claiming gold at 135lbs.
The final Pay-Per-View event of the UFC’s ESPN era sees a second title fight as its co-headliner, as Alexandre Pantoja looks to move past young upstart Joshua Van.
