It’s another double header weekend for ONE Championship, but for a change, one of those events will not be held at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
While ONE Friday Fights 133 will unfold there, featuring a Muay Thai showdown between Pompet PK Saenchai and Gregor Thom in its main event, Saturday’s ONE 173 will see the promotion finally back on the road, making their return to Japan.
First up was the latest Friday Fights card however, with a $100,000 U.S. ONE Championship contract on the line for one of the night’s winners. Two MMA contests kicked off the night, with the first featuring Japan’s Ryo Hirayama, and unbeaten (4-0) bantamweight unfortunately missing out on a debut at home.
