Quillan Salkilld Shocks Haqparast with Devastating Head Kick KO at UFC 321

Nasrat Haqparast and Quillan Salkilld are set for an explosive lightweight showdown at UFC 321, a classic clash of proven power and rising momentum.
Haqparast (18-5) looks to build on his already impressive five-fight win streak as he returns to face Salkilld. He last earned a split-decision victory over Esteban Ribovics in March and now steps back into action on relatively short notice for this late-added matchup.
Salkilld (9-1) makes his third UFC appearance since earning his contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024. He enters UFC 321 riding a two-fight win streak, with victories over Anshul Jubli and Yanal Ashmouz.
Round 1 – Haqparast started strong, applying pressure early while Salkilld looked to manage distance with front kicks. Salkilld attempted a takedown, but it came from too far out and was easily denied.
For most of the opening round, Salkilld was forced onto the back foot as Haqparast stuffed takedown attempts and landed clean shots.
Then, out of nowhere, Salkilld detonated a perfectly timed head kick, sending Haqparast crashing to the canvas in spectacular fashion and putting an emphatic end to the UFC 321 prelims.
Haqparast was down for some time, but the crowd erupted in relief when he eventually made it back to his feet.
