Friday saw the official (and later ceremonial) weigh-ins unfold for this weekend’s UFC Vancouver: De Ridder vs. Allen card, with little in the way of drama at the scales.
The bulk of the card weighed in early in the window, including headliner Reinier de Ridder, with a few names coming shortly after the first group, including Canadian welterweight Mike Malott. “Proper” Malott features in the night’s co-headliner, taking on the #15-ranked Kevin Holland, who was first to weigh in on Friday.
By the time ten o’clock rolled around, the first hour of the two-hour weigh-in window having passed, just one fighter was outstanding, flyweight Bruno Gustavo da Silva. He hit the scales shortly past ten,
