The UFC’s return to New York has added a key welterweight fight.
That bout will see Sean Brady (18-1) take on Michael Morales (18-0), with Brady coming off a big fight in London earlier this year.
Promotion officials announced the booking on Wednesday.
Brady got the better of former UFC welterweight champ Leon Edwards in his own back yard at UFC London this past March, submitting “Rocky” with a guillotine choke in the fourth round. Prior to that, he’d picked up victories over Gilbert Burns and Kelvin Gastelum.
Morales remains undefeated in his UFC run and in his professional career overall. He’s won six straight since winning his way into the promotion on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021, with Max Griffin, Jake Matthews, Neil Magny, and Gilbert Burns among the names he has defeated to date.
Sean Brady currently sits at the #2 spot in the UFC’s official rankings at welterweight, while Michael Morales comes in at #8.
