SlapFIGHT: INFLUX Crowns Next SlapFIGHT Stars

SlapFight
SlapFIGHT Championship’s “INFLUX” event set out to replenish its heavyweight and super heavyweight divisions, and it delivered a night of brutal knockouts, grueling five-round wars, and unexpected new stars. Fourteen aspiring slappers battled for contracts in two separate tournaments, aiming to become the next top contenders in their respective weight classes. With champions Frank the Tank (Heavyweight) and Grizzly (Super Heavyweight) having cleaned out their divisions, the stage was set for fresh talent to make their mark.

The heavyweight tournament was a showcase of power and endurance from the opening bout. The action kicked off with “Silverback” securing a devastating knockout victory over “Hammer”. The momentum continued with a hard-fought, five-round battle between the smaller “Slapmare” and the formidable “Young and Lavish,” who ultimately earned a close judges’ decision. The quarterfinals also saw “Break It Blake” advance after his opponent, “The General,” was plagued by repeated fouls, including stepping and flinching violations that cost him the match. In the final quarterfinal matchup, “Controversy” Cody Cox made a statement with a decisive win over “Rooster”.

The semifinals took an unexpected turn when Break It Blake was forced to withdraw due to a broken wrist sustained in his previous fight, giving Controversy a direct path to the finals. In the other semifinal, Silverback went to war with Young and Lavish, emerging victorious after five grueling rounds to book his spot in the main event.

Super Heavyweight Slugfest: Giants Collide
The super heavyweight division featured some of the largest athletes in slap fighting history, leading to chaotic and punishing encounters. In a wild opening match, the 6-foot-7, 390-pound “Sasquatch” was disqualified for repeated illegal strikes against “TKO” from Team Biscuit. Despite being knocked down, TKO showed incredible resilience to get back to his feet and advance due to Sasquatch’s fouls. On the other side of the bracket, “The Punisher” overcame an early knockdown to score a knockout win against “The Big Beast,” while “Trunk” received a bye into the semifinals.

However, the tournament was shaken up again when The Punisher had to pull out due to an injury sustained in his victory. This withdrawal propelled TKO and Trunk directly into the super heavyweight final for a coveted contract.

Crowning the New Contenders
The night culminated in two explosive finals that crowned the tournament winners. In the super heavyweight main event, TKO faced the fresh and powerful Trunk. Despite absorbing immense punishment throughout the five rounds, TKO’s cleaner technique and Trunk’s costly stepping penalties earned TKO a stunning upset victory by judges’ decision, securing him the super heavyweight contract.
