UFC 320 arrives this weekend, one of the best cards from the promotion in the back half of 2025.
Headlined by an immediate rematch between light heavyweight champ Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira, the card has something many UFC events of late have lacked: true depth. Aside from the headliner, bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili returns, looking to defend his title for the third time this year. This time out, the opponent is Cory Sandhagen, and if Dvalishvili clears that hurdle, he’ll already be in the bantamweight GOAT conversation.
While that may seem quick, Dvalishvili took the long road to the belt, putting together a stellar win streak even before dethroning Sean O’Malley. With great champs like Dominick Cruz and Aljamain Sterling only defending three times (and that’s across Cruz’s two reigns, though not factoring in his WEC run), Dvalishvili is right at the doorstep.
Then there’s Jiri Prochazka versus Khalil Rountree Jr., a fan-friendly scrap that should put the winner just behind Carlos Ulberg for a title shot.
