In a landmark show for the European fight scene, OKTAGON 75 lands in Hannover for the very first time this Saturday, bringing with it a stacked fight card and plenty of intrigue. Headlined by featherweights Gjoni Palokaj and rising Czech prospect Jakub Batfalský, this high-stakes battle for contender status in a division recently shaken up by the departure of a former champ.
Palojak (11-3) brings his 4-fight Oktagon win streak into the main event bout with Batfalský in hopes of turning it into a title shot for the vacant belt. Victories over Jaroslav Pokorny, Karol Arteaga, Karol Rysavy and Marco Novak set him up for a date in Hannover.
Batfalský (8-1) makes his 4th walk into the Oktagon cage coming in with 3 consecutive victories under the promotional banner. The 22-year-old from Ostrava hopes to reach a title shot in hopes of becoming one of the youngest champions in the history of Oktagon MMA.
All of the action takes place on Oktagon.TV kicking off at 8:30am PT, 11:30am ET.
