The UFC returns to Nashville, TN this Saturday, and this year’s UFC Nashville card promises a violent main event, as heavyweight knockout king Derrick Lewis takes on rising Brazilian Tallison Teixeira, who has never left the first round.
Part of an extended stretch of road shows by the UFC, the Nashville card also featured fan favorite welterweight Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson, a former title challenger, taking on another strong Brazilian up-and-comer in Gabriel Bonfim. Featherweight Calvin Kattar, meanwhile, was paired up with Steve Garcia, with Nate Landwehr, Virtor Petrino, and Junior Tafa all featuring as well on a very strong main card on paper.
