Okay, sports fam, if you missed week 4 of Pro League Network’s Friday Night Fights, you missed pure chaos, in the best way possible. PLN just dropped its wildest creation yet, Ultimate Tire Wrestling.

Picture this, a mat, a massive tire, and six fighters who are equal parts muscle, brains, and straight-up maniacs. The goal? Outmuscle, outsmart, and literally dump your opponent into a giant tire. It’s sumo, jiujitsu, and demolition derby energy all mashed together, and it’s the most insane sport ever.

Quarterfinals

Black Larry vs. Groundshark

First up, Black Larry and Groundshark went full throttle. Larry snagged round one with the most control time, but Groundshark wasn’t about to let it slide, he took round two in another sweaty, back-and-forth grind. By round three, both dudes were running on empty, but Groundshark’s relentless hustle got him just enough control time to edge out Larry and move on.

Firecracker vs. Mallet

Next, Firecracker and Mallet squared off in a matchup that started chill but escalated fast. Mallet pulled a total anime move in round one, flipping Firecracker over his back and straight into the tire. In round two, both were gassed, but Mallet found another gear and dumped Firecracker again, locking in the dub.

Lucas Clay vs. Smiley

Then came newcomer Lucas Clay vs. Smiley. Clay might be new to PLN, but he looked like he’d been tire-wrestling since birth. He dominated Smiley in both rounds, dunking him with ease and punching his ticket to the semis.

Semifinals

Lucas Clay vs. Groundshark

This was a chess match with muscles. Round one? Total stalemate—nobody could get the upper hand or even a second of control time. Round two, though, the tension was unreal. Both started going for broke, nearly dumping each other into the tire, but Groundshark eked out the win by just one second of control time. One. Second.

The Final

The grand finale was everything. Groundshark came out swinging, almost dumping Mallet in the first few seconds, but Mallet wriggled free. Didn’t matter, Groundshark came back, lifted Mallet, and dropped him in the tire in under two minutes. By round two, Mallet was running on fumes, and Groundshark wasted no time, 17 seconds in, Mallet was back in the tire and Groundshark was your first-ever Ultimate Tire Wrestling champ.

PLN’s Ultimate Tire Wrestling isn’t just a sport, it’s a spectacle. It’s about strategy, stamina, and not being afraid to get a little weird. Every match was a flex of grit and creativity, and Groundshark’s run was legendary. If you’re not tuning in, you’re missing the future of fight night.
