The PFL World Tournament continues this week, and it’s bantamweights and women’s flyweights in action at 2025’s PFL 2 card in Orlando, Florida.
As always in MMA, things are not allowed to go according to plan, and to kick off Fight Week, it was revealed that Taila Santos was out of the tournament. As a result, former Bellator champ Juliana Velasquez now faces Ekaterina Shakalova. And current Bellator women’s flyweight champion Liz Carmouche (maybe current? Even she seems unclear as to the status of her former title) takes on Ilara Joanne in the night’s main event.
The men’s bantamweight division is a new addition this year, and it’s in the main event, as Leandro Higo, a former Bellator title challenger, takes on Josh Rettinghouse. Former UFC fighter Jake Hadley is also in the field, appearing on the prelims.
Weigh-ins for the 2025 PFL 2 card take place on Thursday in Orlando, Florida, as the event goes down Friday. All bouts are quaterfinals in the PFL World Tournament, with the exception of one alternate fight. Results are below.
Another big change up for the PFL this week as Josh Rettinghouse was not cleared to compete. Leandro Higo will now face tournament alternate Marcirley Alves.
