Luciano holds a victory from the Bellator days with a submission victory over Steven Hill at Bellator Champions Series. He lost two opponents in a row before landing Shields, and now Storley.
Umalatov was the favorite to win the welterweight tournament and sees his exit come via the scale. His weight has not been disclosed as of yet. Out of the tournament, and out of the fight, it’ll be interesting to see what the promotion does with one of it’s more promising welterweights.
The event will go on with a total of 8 bouts. PFL World Tournament: Round 1 takes place at Universal Studios Florida on April 3.
