The card’s main event found champ Hugo Cunha looking to defend his title for the first time, after returning from a loss to Rizvan Kuniev on Dana White’s Contender Series last year.
Cunha, long considered a prospect to watch for, was not alone in returning from a setback on DWCS. At the opposite end of the weight spectrum, flyweight An Tuan Ho was back, after being knocked out by Lone’er Kavanagh in stunning fashion – the first loss of Ho’s young career.
