After last week’s UFC 313 at the T-Mobile Arena, the UFC was in Vegas once again for Saturday, March 15’s UFC Vegas 104, this time back at the UFC Apex.

Headlining the show, middleweight contenders Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze faced off for the second time. Vettori had come away with the victory in their first encounter nearly two years ago to the day. The problem was, he’d only fought once since, in a losing effort opposite Jared Cannonier. Since then he’d been sidelined by injury, which had seen a high-profile scrap with Brendan Allen fall through last year.

Georgian Roman Dolidze, meanwhile, was on a bit of a hot streak having won his last two fights. Those included a decision victory over the soon-to-retire Anthony “Lionheart” Smith, and a finish of the ever-popular Kevin Holland.

Six fights were set for the UFC Vegas 104 main card on Saturday, with two of the twelve fighters having missed weight: Chidi Njokuani, coming in heavy for no less than the seventh time in his pro career, and Diyar Nurgozhay, who blew weight for his debut by a country mile. That saw his “light heavyweight” fight with Brendson Ribeiro shifted to a 210.5lb catchweight.

Would either of those misses impact their respective fights? Our picks are in. See below for how we have UFC Vegas 104 playing out!

There were two unanimous selections among our writers responding for UFC Vegas 104. Those were Alexander Hernandez, with apologies to the talented Kurt Holobaugh, and the debuting Kevin Vallejos.

Despite notching the win in their first meeting, meanwhile, our staff doesn’t see Marvin Vettori coming away victorious over Roman Dolidze a second time. Instead, it’s a 4-2 margin in favor of Dolidze.
