Newcomer Malcolm Wellmaker Meets Cameron Saaiman at UFC Kansas City

Bantamweight action featuring a promotional newcomer is set for UFC Kansas City this April.

Malcolm Wellmaker (8-0) will make his UFC debut at UFC Kansas City on April 26, 2025, where he’ll take on South Africa’s Cameron Saaiman (9-2).

Iridium Sports Agency, who represent Wellmaker, announced the news recently.

Wellmaker, known as “The Machine,” is undefeated so far in his professional fighting career, and graduated to the UFC via Dana White’s Contender Series last year. He boasts six finishes amongst his eight wins, with six by way of KO/TKO, and two submissions.

On the Contender Series, Wellmaker stopped Adam Bramhald care of a perfectly placed right hook.

Cameron Saaiman had a hot start to his UFC career, winning a trio of fights following his own appearance on DWCS in 2022. However, he then ran into “prospect killer” Christian Rodriguez, losing a decision. His last fight was more bad news, as he wound up finished by Payton Talbott.

UFC Kansas City takes place on April 26 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO. Jamahal Hill vs. Khalil Rountree Jr. headlines. The following match-ups have been reported for the event:
