The newest signee to the ONE Championship flyweight division Joshua Perreira will make his promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 29 against Banma Duoji on March 7 sources tell Cageside Press.
Perreira (5-0) enters a stacked flyweight division after spending some time in LFA and Ohio Combat league. Perreira trains out of the famed Immortal Martial Arts Center under the tutelage of former UFC welterweight Matt Brown in Columbus, OH.
The 27-year-old took the SICP title last October before making the jump to ONE Championship, and he’ll get a game opponent for his debut on March 7.
Duoji (15-3) is 1-2 in ONE Championship coming off a tough decision loss to Danial Williams in October. His lone promotional victory came against Walter Goncalves at ONE Fight Night 12 in July.
While Duoji holds the experience advantage Perreira comes in showing promise to become one of the best flyweights in the world.
