The storyline heading into UFC Seattle’s main event was clear: Henry Cejudo needed to avoid the first three-fight skid of his career to have any shot at making another run for gold at age 38. Song Yadong, meanwhile, needed to finally get over the hump and secure a signature win over a veteran, big-name opponent.

Both fighters had been here before. Cejudo, years early, had lost back-to-back fights including a title shot against flyweight grand Demetrious Johnson. The setbacks spurred him to go on a run that would see him claim UFC titles in the flyweight and bantamweight divisions simultaneously, one of only four fighters in promotion history to do so.

Yadong had also been booked in steps up in competition in the past, opposite Cory Sandhagen in 2022 and Petr Yan last year. No dice.

Making a big win that much more important for both Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong at UFC Seattle.

The card’s co-main event, meanwhile, was a rematch between Brendan Allen and Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez dating back to their careers prior to the promotion. Hernandez had come away with the win in that meeting at LFA 32, could “All In” even the score?

Following UFC Seattle, tune in for the night’s post-fight press conference to stay on top of these storylines and more. A live stream is available above.
