Canadian welterweight Mike Malott has another fight on home soil lined up, as he’ll take part in UFC 315 in Montreal, Quebec this May.
The UFC’s first Canadian date of 2025 will see Ontario’s Malott (11-2-1) take on Charles Radtke (10-4), a.k.a. “Chuck Buffalo,” at the Bell Centre in Montreal on May 10, 2025.
UFC officials announced the booking on Friday. Malott joins fellow Canadians Marc-Andre Barriault and Brad Katona on the Montreal card.
After suffering a late upset against Neil Magny at UFC 297 last January, Malott was set for a summer return, only to instead sit out due to injury. Ultimately, he got back in the cage at UFC Edmonton in November, where he earned a unanimous decision victory over Trevin Giles.
Malott is 4-1 under the UFC banner since entering the promotion off a win on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021. He, alongside teammate Jasmine Jasudavicius and Quebec’s Aiemann Zahabi, have been at the forefront of Canadian MMA in recent years.
Radtke is 3-1 inside the UFC octagon, and will enter the fight off a win over Matthew “Semi the Jedi” Semelsberger. He caused a stir following his debut at UFC 293 in 2023, after dropping a homophobic slur and cursing at the crowd in Sydney, Australia. Radtke later apologized for the incident.
UFC 315 is headlined by welterweight champ Belal Muhammad, set to defend his title opposite Jack Della Maddalena. Women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko returns in the co-headliner, looking to defend against Manon Fiorot.
