Bantamweight, Tiago Pereira
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
27-years-old
8-0
3 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions
Combined opponents’ record: 55-12
Of all the Brazilian prospects Pereira is the most under-the-radar fighter. It’s odd considering he is the Jungle Fights champion defending that title twice. Pereira is a sought-out striker with good straight punches, counters, nasty kicks, and just all-around savagery on the feet. Training out of Team Nogueira he’s a talented grappler who can switch it up and dominate it there. It would be a shame if the UFC doesn’t look at him sooner than later.
Lightweight, Harry Webb
Ballarat, Victoria, Australia
25-years-old
5-0
3 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission
Combined opponents’ record: 14-4
Webb has never lost an MMA fight. Undefeated as a pro and went 7-0 as an amateur. He won titles as an amateur and as a pro, he’s the current Eternal MMA champion. His last two fights proved his level beating an established guy and then a young rising up-and-comer. Webb can wrestle and grapple and mixes it in nicely just to show he can do it all. For someone who’s just 5-0 as a pro, he’s already a seasoned striker. Webb uses every weapon in his arsenal throwing kicks, knees, and elbows. Webb is the future of the lightweight division. He’s coming off an insane fight where he won but came out with a broken jaw. Webb would still be perfect for the Contender Series.
Flyweight, Paris Moran
Texas, US
28-years-old
12-2
3 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions
Combined opponents’ record: 68-29
Moran is long overdue for a UFC contract. His last loss is to the UFC’s Josh Van. Moran has been the Fury FC flyweight champ for the last two years defending it multiple times against good fighters. His biggest knock possibly holding him back from that UFC shot was his lack of finishes. Well, in his last two fights, he’s finished inside two rounds. Moran has shown he can go to his grappling when needed but he is a striker. He’s a really smooth technical striker.
“I should be in the UFC because I’ve proven that I belong at the highest level. I dedicate my entire life to being a champion—my diet, lifestyle, and training all revolve around being the best. I’m constantly improving, and fully committed to achieving greatness in this sport.” – Moran
Lightweight, Marko Bojkovic
Belgrade, Serbia
23-years-old
8-0
4 KO/TKOs, 3 Submissions
Combined opponents record: 69-21
Bojkovic is arguably the best prospect out of Europe. What makes him different is the intensity he brings into the cage. He throws with so much effort that everything is to put the lights out. He’s got the technical abilities too as he goes to the body and can counter. Bojkovic can wrestle as well and is a big threat in every aspect on the mat. He’s someone the UFC would love if they looked into him because he has the personality and the fight style. He’s also fought credible competition.
Featherweight, Luke Riley
Liverpool, England
25-years-old
11-0
7 KO/TKOs
Combined opponents record: 49-21
Riley is one of the staple prospects out of Cage Warriors currently. We already know he’s been looked at by the UFC because he was supposed to be on the Contender Series last season. Riley is one of the most exciting prospects not only out of the UK but the world. He’s a must-watch every time he fights as he’s incapable of being in a boring fight. He’s an all-volume in-your-face combination striker. He’d add a lot of value to the UFC. He’d be a fan favorite off the rip and brings a lot of eyes from the UK coming into the promotion.
