50 Prospects The UFC Should Sign in 2025

Flyweight, Bilal Hasan
Washington State, Washington, US
23-years-old
5-0, 1 NC
3 KO/TKOs, 1 Submission
Combined opponents’ record: 14-6

There isn’t another fighter at this time representing Indonesia at Hasan’s level, even though he lives in the States. Hasan is a special talent. Hasan comes from a Taekwondo background where he a Pan-American champion in 2017. His striking is top notch and he can hold his own on the mat. He has the “it” factor at 125. His style will attract almost everyone with how he fights. Hasan has a loose style using a lot of movement, feints, and a series of kicks. Hasan mixes it up so we’ll throwing from all angles. I don’t see how he’s not a UFC fighter in 2025.

“My fights speak for themselves. I bring excitement from start to finish, and I’m always pushing to show up and show more in the next fight. I’ve put in the work day in and day out, and I believe that effort is shown in every performance I put on. I also am surrounded by the best team and the most supportive loved ones who truly believe in me and push me to always do more. I love the journey of being a martial artist, and I’m fully committed to evolving and testing myself at the highest level.” – Hasan

Flyweight, Damir Tolenov
Almaty, Kazakhstan
29-years-old
12-1
5 KO/TKOs, 6 Submissions
Combined opponents’ record: 47-26-2

I feel Tolenov would already be in the UFC if it wasn’t for that loss in 2023, his only setback. That was a fight he would win more than not anyway. After that, he’s won two since anyway. Tolenov is a good striker but an even more skilled grappler holding four submission wins. That’s saying a lot because his striking is really good. Although his grappling is his strong spot I do enjoy the striking. He’s both technical and deadly. His vision and his striking IQ really stand out. I believe this guy is a top 15-level UFC flyweight in the future.

“I truly believe the UFC should sign me because I’m not just a skilled striker but a well-rounded fighter who can adapt to any situation. I can fight standing up, go the distance, and finish fights with knockouts, submissions, or chokes. My record speaks for itself: 12-1, with nearly all my wins coming by knockouts or submissions. I bring excitement to every fight, and I’m the kind of fighter fans want to see. Right now, I’d place myself among the top 15 fighters in the UFC because I’m comfortable anywhere—in the stand-up or on the ground. It doesn’t matter where the fight goes; I’m ready to perform at the highest level. Most importantly, I know I can break into the top five and eventually become a champion. My fights aren’t just competitive—they’re entertaining and unforgettable. That’s why I believe the UFC should sign me.” – Tolenov

Strawweight, Lany Silva
Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
22-years-old
6-1
1 KO/TKO, 1 Submission
Combined opponents’ record: 23-9-1

Silva lost for the first time in 2024. It wasn’t because of a lack of skill but a lack of physicality. Now, she’s won her last two and has looked great. Her striking is top notch and you can see the background she has in kickboxing. The background being a national champion out of Brazil in 2022. She recently beat a solid opponent via heel hook so it proves Silva is trying to improve in all areas. Silva was the LFA fighter of the year in 2023 but aiming even higher for 2025. She has a real chance of being something special in the future.

“I deserve to be in the UFC 2025 for everything I’ve been building. Since a very young age, I’ve always been very dedicated, leaving my family, my hometown, and chasing my goals far from home. In just three years, I’ve managed to build a record and achieve success in major organizations. Today, at 22 years old, I’m ranked number four in my division in Brazil. I made my debut and got a submission win in my last fight at UAE Warriors and was named Fighter of the Year at LFA in 2023, among other titles outside of MMA, such as being a two-time Brazilian kickboxing champion, a champion at the K1 World event, and having a great hunger to conquer the biggest stage in the world! I feel ready and stand out for always fighting smart, following strategies, and always delivering a show and a battle for the audience in every fight! I’m ready to earn my place in the biggest event in the world!”

Bantamweight, Colby Thicknesse
New South Wales, Australia
25-years-old
7-0
2 KO/TKOs, 2 Submissions
Combined opponents’ record: 27-16

As an amateur, Thicknesse was an IMMAF-WMMAA Oceania Open Champion. He’s a main teammate of former UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski. Thicknesse doesn’t stick out massively in a particular area. Instead, he’s good everywhere and brings toughness and relentless pressure. He’s already faced adversity and has the heart and gas tank to outlast guys. One of the most highly regarded young prospects out of Australia. Also, he recently won the HEX bantamweight title which was last held by Cody Haddon who is now in the UFC.

Bantamweight, Auttumn Norton
Bakersfield, California, US
30-years-old
4-2
3 KO/TKOs
Combined opponents’ record: 9-1

Norton may not have the best-looking record but she’s much better than that would suggest. She’s coming off a huge knockout over Emily Martins who was highly regarded at the time. That was also for the CFFC title and Norton won it in just ten seconds. She’s had a few setbacks but at her best, she’s got promise. Norton loves a good scrap and can take one to give a heavier one. Norton throws everything including the kicking sink from a lot of different angles. She’s a real savage and there isn’t a striking in MMA quite like her.

“Love me. Pick me. CHOOSE ME!!!!” – Norton
