Youssef Zalal is set to face Calvin Kattar at UFC Vegas 102 on February 15, 2025.

News of the booking was revealed by Zalal himself on the JAXXON podcast on Tuesday, though the featherweight noted that he had not yet signed the contract. That said, it appears the fight is a go, with Zalal set to start training camp imminently.

Kattar (23-8) remains ranked #10 in the UFC’s featherweight division, but has lost his last three bouts, against solid competition in Josh Emmett, Arnold Allen, and Aljamain Sterling. His last win came against Giga Chikadze in January of 2022.

The New England Cartel member holds notable wins over Shane Burgos, Ricardo Lamas, Jeremy Stephens, and Dan Ige, among others.

As for Zalal (16-5-1), he won three fights in 2024, when he returned to the UFC for a second stint after spending about a year and a half on the regional circuit. Most recently, he picked up a victory over the now-retired Welsh standout Jack Shore.
