Following submission his win at Oktagon 65, Agy Sardari called for a rematch with Losene Keita. The former Cage Warriors Lightweight-Champion lost to Losene Keita in the opening round of the Tipsport Gamechanger Lightweight Tournament.
Sardari spoke on how he respected Keita too much for the first two rounds, and feels that given 5 rounds, he can finish the #1 Pound-for-Pound Oktagon fighter. He shared that he and his coaches have a spreadsheet, where they identified the holes in both Losene Keita and Ronald Paradieser’s games. Sardari stated that he is glad that Keita won, because he really wants that rematch.
Keita brushed off Sardari’s claims in the press conference, stating that he couldn’t defeat him when he was on one leg. He said he would welcome it, but it wouldn’t be as close as the first fight.
“The Wolverine”, the #4 ranked Lightweight, won at Oktagon65 with a submission in the 2nd round, It started with a brutal head kick, which then led to Sardari locking up a rear-naked-choke.
Sardari stated that he is ready to whenever, after taking little to now damage, as for Keita, he also stated that he would like to remain active. If Losene Keita does stay with OktagonMMA, a rematch with Sardari could be his first fight of the year.
