The UFC’s first trip to Seattle, Washington since 2013 has added welterweight action.
Adam Fugitt (10-4) will face Islam Dulatov (11-1) in a 170lb match-up at the Fight Night event on February 22, 2025.
News of the booking was first reported by Iridium Sports Agency, who represent Fugitt, on Tuesday.
Fugitt, a former X-1 and Prime Fighting welterweight champ, is 2-2 in the UFC to date and has been trading wins and losses since arriving in the company in 2022. He holds wins over Yusaku Kinoshita and (most recently) Josh Quinlan, while having dropped bouts opposite Michael Morales and Mike Malott.
His opponent, Islam Dulatov, will be making his promotional debut after picking up a knockout win against Vanilto Antunes care of an elbow on this year’s installment of Dana White’s Contender Series. Dulatov, a.k.a. “The Ripper,” hasn’t lost a fight since his professional debut in 2019. He holds a win over UFC alum Will Chope outside the company.
Adam Fugitt will be welcoming a former model to the octagon come February, as Dulatov previously worked the runway for brands like Versace.
UFC Seattle does not have a venue or broadcast plan announced, but will mark the promotion’s fourth visit to the city, and first since UFC on FOX 8 in 2013, headlined by Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and John Moraga.
