The UFC‘s second trip to Canada in 2024 is headlined by a pair of five-round flyweight fights, one on the men’s side and one on the women’s.
Both marquee scraps feature former champions: in the main event slot, ex-champ Brandon Moreno looks to snap a two-fight skid when he takes on title hopeful Amir Albazi. Then in the co-headliner (originally announced as the main event, until Moreno vs. Albazi came along), Rose Namajunas seeks her third win as a flyweight, opposite fellow contender Erin Blanchfield.
In both cases, the winners at UFC Edmonton may just secure second-in-line status. Kai Asakura is already fighting Alexandre Pantoja for flyweight gold at UFC 310 in December, while Manon Fiorot is almost certainly next for Valentina Shevchenko.
Friday will see the full card weigh in for UFC Edmonton, starting at 11AM ET, 8AM PT. Full results from the official weigh-ins can be found below; ceremonial weigh-ins will take place later in the day.
