Last weekend’s UFC Vegas 98 card turned out to be a much more electric Fight Night card than anticipated thanks to some heated flyweight action. Can the promotion match that energy with UFC Vegas 99 this Saturday?
The latest (and one of the last this year) trip to the Apex is headlined by middleweights Michel “Demolidor” Ferreira and and Anthony “Fluffy” Hernandez. Both men sit just inside of the top 15 in the UFC‘s 185lb division, with Pereira in particular having gained a sizable following thanks to his flashy, electrifying style.
Hernandez, meanwhile, still has a submission over ADCC champ Rodolfo Vieira on his resume, but he’s also won four straight since then, with victories over Roman Kopylov and Edmen Shahbazyan in that stretch.
Weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 99 get underway at 9AM PT, 12PM ET in Las Vegas on Friday, with the card taking place Saturday, October 19, 2024. Full weigh-in results are below.
Just one fighter missed weight for UFC Vegas 99, Joselyne Edwards. She came in at 139.5 for a women’s bantamweight fight, and about 15 minutes later shed her clothes and some of her hair, only to come in at 135. It’s Edwards’ third time missing weight under the UFC banner.
