The final week of Dana White’s Contender Series Season 8 arrives on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 with one final shot for 10 hopefuls to break into the UFC.

This season has been another generous one in terms of contracts awarded, with 38 contracts handed out to date in 45 fights (or 44 if you consider Quemuel Ottoni pulled out of his fight with Kody Steele shortly before the bout). The message seems to be, finish big, or fight in a weight class where the UFC is a little thin, and you’re in. 29 finishes have taken place so far this season, meaning the remaining contract winners went the distance. Regardless, don’t leave it in the hands of the judges, right?

One fighter returns on the Contender Series in the final week of DWCS 2024. That’s Nick Piccininni, an NCAA Division I All-American wrestler who won a split decision over Jack Duffy earlier this season. Piccininni and Duffy were booked for a rematch on the final episode of the season, only for Duffy to pull out of the fight. Now, Piccininni gets another look, this time against undefeated flyweight prospect Luis Gurule.

Where to Watch DWCS Season 8 Week 10
