Former Bellator MMA women’s flyweight title challenger and UFC strawweight Emily Ducote has her next assignment set — in the main event of Invicta FC 58.
Ducote (13-9) will compete for the first time since exiting the UFC when she takes on Russia’s Yulia Ostroverkhova (9-3-1) at the event on November 6, 2024. The card takes place at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS. The fight is expected to be contested at 115lbs, and was announced via press release on Tuesday.
Emily Ducote was last seen falling to Vanessa Demopoulos in May, coming up just short in a fight that went the distance and resulted in a split decision. Prior to that, she’d earned a win over Ashley Yoder. Ducote when 2-3 through five UFC fights, with her other win coming over Jessica Penne in 2022.
Prior to the jump to the UFC, Ducote had captured strawweight gold in Invicta FC, defeating Danielle Taylor to claim the title in August 2021, then defending her belt against Alesha Zappitella.
Her early career came under the Bellator banner, where she competed for the inaugural 125lb title in that promotion, losing to promotional darling Ilima-Lei Macfarlane.
In her Invicta FC return, Ducte gets Ostroverkhova, who fell in her promotional debut against Valesca Machado earlier this year.
The following match-ups have been announced for Invicta FC 58 thus far:
