Nassourdine Imavov Loves Allen’s Mindset Going Into UFC Paris

Paris – UFC middleweight Nassourdine Imavov responded to Brendan Allen’s trash talk as they get set to meet in the co-main event of UFC Paris on Saturday night.

Allen has said in interviews that he wants to see Imavov’s reaction when he sees his own blood.

“I like this mindset you know. If he comes into the fight with this mindset will be real war,” Imavov told reporters through a translator on Wednesday.

“I love that. If he needs confirmation about that he can watch my other fights and see that I react very well to the blood.”

Imavov (14-4) gets Allen in a three-round co-main event. Allen had requested five rounds, but was denied.

“He wanted a lot of things, but it doesn’t matter in the end. He’s behind me (in the rankings). He doesn’t have hype. I have more hype than him, and better rank than him. So he doesn’t have nothing to claim for,” he said.

“He comes in my city and it will be with the rules that the contract the UFC sent. It was three rounds contract. I’m not afraid of getting five rounds. If you see my last fight against Jared (Cannonier) initially it was three rounds fight, and then they came back to me two weeks before the fight to ask to take a five rounds main event. It was no problem.”
