One day after his signing broke news UFC newcomer Reinier de Ridder has his debut date as he’ll take on Gerald Meerschaert at UFC Vegas 100 on Nov 9.

First reported by UFC op Eurosport.

De Ridder (17-2) will make his debut in the UFC following a ONE Championship run that saw him go 7-2. He made his ONE debut in 2019 and made his way to his first title victory over Aung La N Sang when he became the middleweight champion.

Not satisfied with just one belt de Ridder then challenged N Sang for the light heavyweight title which he also won making him a two division champion. He held onto the titles until dropping both to Anatoly Malykhin in 2022 and 2024 respectively.

After making a stop at UAE Warriors 51 where he made quick work of Magomedmurad Khasaev he made his way to the largest MMA promotion in the world.

Meerschaert (37-17) welcomes de Ridder to the UFC riding a two-fight win streak picking up submission victories over Bryan Barberena and Edmen Shahbazyan. The five-time performance of the night bonus winner looks to extend his win streak to 3 at UFC Vegas 100.
