Suarez, 33, is undefeated at 10-0 and has run roughshod over the competition since returning to action last year following a four year absence due to multiple lingering injuries. The former Olympic wrestling hopeful holds victories over former champions Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso, and Carla Esparza. On the cusp of a title shot in 2019 prior to her injury, Suarez is 3-0 since last year and was previously scheduled for a fight with Jandiroba last summer before Jandiroba was forced to withdraw from the bout.
Jandiroba, 36, enters the bout riding a four fight win-streak that has seen her best perennially top-ranked contender Marina Rodriguez and in July upset former title challenger Amanda Lemos in what was Jandiroba’s first headliner. A veteran of the UFC since 2019 and holds a 7-3 inside the Octagon.
Besides the strawweight bout, a light-heavyweight bout between former title challengers Anthony Smith and Dominick Reyes is also expected to be on the card. No main event has been announced at this time. The event will be the final pay-per-view of the calendar year.
