UFC APEX – UFC middleweight Caio Borralho has a big fight ahead of him in the main event of UFC Vegas 96 against Jared Cannonier on Saturday night, but he did get to watch the main event of UFC 305.
“It’s crazy this one you know…I think in all of Dricus’s (Du Plessis) fight I always bet against him,” Borralho laughed with reporters on Wednesday.
“It’s crazy how bad he is, but how he makes it work. It’s crazy how me makes it work, you know, props to him. I just need to congratulate him because even with bad technique, bad game plan, crazy style, he always makes it work and he’s winning. He’s undefeated in the UFC so he deserves the spot that he is right now.”
Borralho (16-1) isn’t one to look past an opponent, but he can’t help but want a fight with Du Plessis.
“For sure I’m just thinking about Jared, I don’t want to be thinking about anything else, but looking forward to get this fight,” he said.
One of the more fun fighters on social media Borralho knows a thing or two about marketing. That’s kind of the stance he takes on the brawl between Brendan Allen and Marvin Vettori at PFL Hollywood.

“These guys are crazy. I don’t know if they were just like marketing or any sh*t like that, but…I don’t know. It’s not my style to go there and play around these stupid games and go there and try to fight or pretend to fight or actually fight outside the octagon,” Borralho grinned.
“We’re professionals. We inspire a lot of people. I have my son here with me and everything. This is not an example that I want to give people. Definitely crazy guys, but they got attention, that’s all.”
