Bare Knuckle FC was in action on Friday, with BKFC Fight Night Kansas City taking place at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas headlined by welterweight action.
The main event found Kansas native Jake Lindsey paired up with Elvin Brito, the promotion’s former welterweight champ who had lost his title to Luis Palomino back in 2022. Brito was what you might call a BKFC original, having appeared all the way back at the promotion’s third event in 2018.
JW Kiser was also featured on Friday’s BKFC Fight Night Kansas City card. For MMA fans, Kiser was a bit of an obscure trivia question answer: who was Jake Hager’s (WWE’s Jack Swagger) first opponent in mixed martial arts? Kiser had lost to Hager back in 2019 at Bellator 214; now 45, he was paired up with a man 15 years his junior in Mikey Furnier.
