Prediction: The only negative thing to say about this fight is it’s a shame one prospect has to lose.

This is a fight between two of the best flyweight prospects in the world. Both of these guys could end up fighting for the world title one day. They are similar fighters but Ho will mix it up more. His wrestling is still a work in progress but his jiu-jitsu is nice. As an amateur, I had worries with the takedown defense of Kavanagh but he’s improved so much.

I do think we see largely a striking affair. Both have so many qualities but I think Kavanagh does everything a bit better. I believe he’s faster, hits harder, has better footwork, and has better kickboxing. I see Kavanagh being able to stick and move, land more output, and have more impactful moments. I’ve got Kavanagh by decision and my confidence level is 63%.
