A card hit by illness, injury, and withdrawals arrives Saturday with UFC Vegas 95 having lost a number of key players ahead of the event.
Out are the likes of Javid Basharat, Allan Nascimento, Johnny Parsons, and Uros Medic. In are newcomers like Quang Le and Nikolay Veretennikov.
At least the main event held together. A heavyweight clash for the ages awaits fight fans… later this year, should Jon Jones finally face off with Stipe Miocic. As for Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac, a somewhat interesting rematch of their 2020 encounter would at least keep the division flowing. Tybura had won their original showdown in 2020; he entered the event 3-1 over his last four, off a win against Tai Tuivasa. Spivac, for his part, had not fought since a loss to Ciryl Gane last September.
