Shara Magomedov Expects Tough Fight From Oleksiejczuk

Abu Dhabi – UFC middleweight Shara ‘Bullet’ Magomedov takes on Michal Oleksiejczuk at UFC Abu Dhabi this Saturday, but the fight wasn’t originally on the card until another fight fell off.

“I don’t know the exact ins and out of how things get put together. I just know that I guess maybe Vicente Luque is not very interesting for this location specifically or just in general. I’m happy that I’m going to be in the co-main event,” Magomedov told reporters through a translator on Wednesday.

“I’m going to go out there and I’m going to win.”

Magomedov (13-0) got a spot on the card after the fight between Luque and MMA legend Nick Diaz fell off the card due to travel issues.

He takes on Oleksiejczuk who is riding a two-fight losing streak making him likely more dangerous than before. An opponent with their back agains the wall is a tough fight.

“He’s going to come out like a bat out of hell because he’s got nowhere to back out to. He’s got nowhere to go but forward. I think that both of us are going to go out there. Both going to try and finish the fight,” he said.

“I’m excited about this fight. This is something that keeps me up and someone that makes me excited to come out there and show what I can do.”
