There’s never a shortage of back and forth between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler, but this time it may be positive news for everybody involved.

McGregor posted a video of himself hitting a mounted striking pad tagging BKFC which Chandler quote tweeted with, “But show us your bare foot knuckles…”.

McGregor and Chandler have been teasing a fight since they coached on The Ultimate Fighter season 31. The expectation was that they would fight shortly following the season, but the fight was pushed to UFC 303 at the end of June.

Unfortunately for the promotion and fans who paid large sums of money to attend a McGregor fight card ‘The Notorious’ was forced to withdraw from the bout with a foot injury. Chandler was pulled from the card as well and the bout was replaced by Alex Pereira defending his title against Jiri Prochazka in the rematch. Pereira won the bout by second round KO.

No official word has been given as to if the two will actually fight or when. McGregor has teased that they will fight at the end of 2024, but CEO Dana White remains insistent than no date has been decided on.
