UFC Vegas 94 took a late hit on Friday morning following official weigh-ins when it was announced that the co-main event between Brad Tavares and Junyong Park was canceled.
According to the UFC which made the announcement during the morning weigh-ins Park was pulled from the fight due to medical issues.
Park (17-6) had not fought since taking a split-decision loss to Andre Muniz last December. That loss snapped a 4-fight win streak for Park.
Tavares (20-9) was hoping to get back into the win column following a TKO loss to Gregory Rodrigues in February.
No word as of yet if the fight will be rescheduled for a later date.
The card now stands at 11 fights:
Amanda Lemos vs. Virna Jandiroba – Strawweight
Steve Garcia vs. Seungwoo Choi – Featherweight
Kurt Holobaugh vs. Kaynan Kruschewsky – Lightweight
Cody Durden vs. Bruno Silva – Flyweight
