Sergei Pavlovich

#3 ranked heavyweight, Sergei Pavlovich, lost a unanimous decision to the #5 ranked Alexander Volkov in the co main event of UFC Saudi Arabia. Pavlovich now finds himself on a two-fight losing skid after losing to his former friend.

After losing his UFC debut, Pavlovich ripped off six wins in a row. He lost to Tom Aspinall last November for the UFC interim heavyweight title.

The perfect fight right now would be Pavlovich opposite the rising Jailton Almeida. The 2021 Contender Series product has been on an absolute tear in the UFC. He’s 7-1, only having lost to top ranked Curtis Blaydes back in March. Jailton was even temporarily matched up with Volkov on UFC 302. #7 ranked heavyweight, Jailton Almedia, was last in action on June 1st when he submitted Alexandr Romanov in the first round.
