Uncasville – PFL flyweight Taila Santos looks to continue making her way to the playoffs as she draws Jena Bishop at PFL 4 on Thursday night.
“I feel great. More than ready just excited and super happy to be living this moment,” Santos told Cageside Press on Tuesday.
Santos (20-3) has fought the best of the best at 125 pounds most notably in the UFC. That doesn’t mean she’ll be taking Bishop lightly come Thursday night.
“From what I’ve watched, as far as tapes goes on her, she enjoys her grappling and that’s probably where she’ll try to take the fight,” Santos said.
“If that’s where the fight goes I have no problem with it. I enjoy grappling as well.”
With the PFL 2024 Regular Season in full swing everybody is fighting for position in the seeding. With that comes potential matchups with names such as Dakota Ditcheva and Liz Carmouche. Both are fights that Santos would absolutely welcome.
“I have a different opponent in front of me right now, but these potential matchups would be incredible,” she said.
“To come out there and become the champion I’ve got to beat the best, and I’m looking forward to it.”
