Jena Bishop Not Worried About ‘Big name’ Santos

Uncasville – Taking on the biggest name she’s ever faced PFL flyweight Jena Bishop is ready for Taila Santos at PFL 4 on Thursday night.

“I was ready to take on anybody,” Bishop told Cageside Press on Tuesday.

“So if I have to take on somebody that has a big name, a big thing earlier on, that’s cool. I’m fine with that.”

Bishop (7-0) doesn’t hold Santos’ losses in the UFC against her. She fully expects the former UFC title challenger to bring her best to the PFL cage on Thursday night.

“I’m expecting that she’s going to be the best version of herself. I didn’t see that there was a fall off in her skillset just because losses that she had. Honestly, if we’re talking about one of the losses that she had, I think that she beat (Valentina) Shevchenko,” she said.

“When I watched that fight I was like ‘I think she kind of got robbed’. So I don’t even see that as a loss for her. I think she’s going to be the best version of herself and hopefully I’m just better.”

End of the day the win is the goal even if it means having to take out one of the biggest names at 125 pounds in the world. How does Bishop pull it off at PFL 4?

“Any way I want,” she said.
