Chris Duncan will fight Nazim Sadykhov at UFC Denver on July 13. The fight is scheduled as a three rounder in the lightweight division.
News of the match-up was first reported by Eurosport’s Marcel Dorff (@bigmarcel24 on Instagram) on various social media platforms.
Chris Duncan (11-2) will be looking to get back on the right track after being submitted in the first round of his most recent fight against Manuel Torres, in February. Duncan, a two-time Contender Series competitor, had not lost since his first bout on the Contender Series in 2021 opposite of Viacheslav Borshchev. After a first-round finish in his second chance on the Contender Series in 2022, Duncan rattled off a pair of decision wins against Omar Morales and Yanal Ashmouz in 2023.
Nazim Sadykhov (9-1-1) is also a product of the 2022 Contender Series, earning a UFC contract by stopping Ahmad Suhail Hassanzada in the final round. Since, Sadykhov has stopped both Evan Elder and Terrance McKinney. In Nazim’s most recent bout, in November of 2023, he fought to a majority draw opposite of Viacheslav Borshchev.
