While the card hit a bit of a rough patch prior to arrival on Friday, June 7, ONE 167 still had a lot to offer for combat sports fans.
A Stamp Fairtex injury had taken her out of a planned main event early on (opponent Denice Zamboanga remained on the card, booked opposite Noelle Grandjean). Then, on weigh-in day, Liam Harrison hit a scale snafu, officially missing weight, but claiming he had been on point and given the go-ahead to drink water by ONE Championship officials, leading to him refusing to make another attempt.
Still, remaining on the card were a number of interesting match-ups, including the new main event featuring Smokin’ Jo Nattawut facing Saenchai for the second time, with featherweight Muay Thai gold on the line. Plus grappling stud Kade Ruotolo in an MMA fight with Blake Cooper, and Mikey Musumeci facing Gabriel Sousa in submission grappling. Not to mention Rodtang in the co-headliner.
