Former UFC starlet Paige VanZant returned to action and made her pro boxing debut at Saturday’s Misfits Boxing X Series 015 in Houston, Texas.
On a weekend with virtually no major MMA or boxing events, the night belonged to PVZ and opponent Elle Brooke, whose MFB women’s middleweight title would be on the line in the fight. And while it might be Paige VanZant’s pro boxing debut, she had been dabbling in bare-knuckle in recent years, giving her a leg up on Brooke, who had made the jump from social media and peddling Only Fans to boxing in 2022, with most of her bouts being exhibitions.
Saturday’s co-main event, meanwhile, found former NFL star turned boxer Le’Veon Bell in action, facing Tristan Hamm in the MFB cruiserweight tournament.
