The return of Conor McGregor at UFC 303 with have a bit of Canadian flavor sprinkled on top.
With Canada’s Gillian Robertson already on the card (her fight with Michelle Waterson-Gomez was shifted from UFC 302) as well as Marc-Andre Barriault, featherweight Charles Jourdain is now in the mix as well. Jourdain (15-7-1) will face Jean Silva (12-2) at the event, set for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on June 29, 2024.
Promotion officials recently announced the booking, which sees Jourdain looking to bounce back from a loss to Sean Woodson. Prior to that, “Air” Jourdain had won back-to-back fights with Kron Gracie and Ricardo Ramos.
Silva is a 2023 Contender Series winner who picked up a finish of Westin Wilson in his promotional debut in January of this year.
UFC 303 is headlined by the aforementioned McGregor taking on Michael Chandler in the belated The Ultimate Fighter 31 coaches’ fight. The show aired on ESPN last year. To date, the following match-ups have been reported for the Pay-Per-View card, which caps off this year’s International Fight Week:
