Women’s flyweight Taylor Mauldin had started her pro career under the LFA banner, going 2-0 for the company back in 2021. On Friday, she returned to the Legacy Fighting Alliance at LFA 184, on a card topped by Ozzy Diaz vs. Bevon Lewis.
Lewis, a UFC alum, found himself submitted by Marcelo Nunes on the PFL Challenger Series in 2022, and had not fought since. His UFC days had come after two wins on DWCS in 2017 and 2018; he later posted a 1-3 record in the company with losses to Uriah Hall, Darren “The Dentist” Stewart and Trevin Giles.
As for Diaz, he had a shot on the Contender Series and came up short against Joe Pyfer in 2022, but after an extended layoff had bounced back earlier this year with a win over Chuck Campbell at LFA 178.
