The UFC will make it’s return to Manchester, England on July 27 at UFC 304.
The promotion made the announcement on Wednesday.
UFC 304 will mark the promotion’s first European event of 2024. With two UFC champions from England it only made sense that a PPV would be the event to have in Manchester.
“I’m so excited to get back to Manchester. And no better time than this summer,” UFC CEO Dana White said in a press release.
“We have two champions from the UK and fans have been dying for a UFC PPV event, so here we come to the largest indoor arena in the UK.”
UFC interim champion Tom Aspinall had posted recently on social media that he was told he’d be on the UFC Manchester card coming up this year.
Aspinall (14-3) defeated Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 to become the interim champion with heavyweight champion Jon Jones on the shelf due to injury. He has plenty of suitors for opponents with a matchup with Ciryl Gane possible as is a rematch with Curtis Blaydes.
UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards is coming off a second successful defense of his title taking a decision victory over Colby Covington at UFC 296 last December.
Tickets go on sale at 10 am on June 7.
