Grasso (16-3-1) is the current women’s flyweight champion coming off a draw against Shevchenko at Noche UFC last September. Prior to that she took the title off Shevchenko at UFC 285 and is currently on a 5-fight win streak.
Shevchenko (23-4-1) had defended the title 7 times before losing the belt to Grasso. She is regarded as the most dominant women’s flyweight champ in promotion history.
Presumably the two will fight for the third consecutive time following TUF 32.
TUF 32 will feature male featherweights and middleweights and will air on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+. No word as tho who is on the cast as of now, but filming is expected to being this month.
The Ultimate Fighter is a UFC staple spanning 32 seasons across multiple platforms. TUF 31 took place last May with coaches Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler leading a cast of male bantamweights and flyweight.
McGregor and Chandler have yet to fight, and while the former continues to to throw dates out for their fight, nothing official has been announced.
