Miami, FL – UFC bantamweight title challenger Marlon “Chito” Vera’s fight with champion Sean O’Malley has made it’s way into the DM’s as the 135er explained.
“He’s a weird guy. He likes the weird sh*t. I tried to stay away from it. The only thing I did was send him a picture of me back,” Vera told reporters including Cageside Press on Wednesday.
“I haven’t even read whatever he says after. I get it. One of his main tools is get in people’s heads, but good luck with that. I’m going to f*ck you up, and I’m prepared for Saturday night.”
Vera had a run-in with O’Malley at the fighter hotel on Tuesday which was caught, for the most part, by UFC cameras filming the Embedded series.
“Yesterday he asked me if I was ready to lose the fight. They didn’t catch my answer which I would have loved the camera catch what I said back to him,” he said.
“That’s just one tool to the game, right? I’m ready for a fight, my mind is in the right place, and I’m going to kick his ass.”
Pressed to tell the cameras present what he told O’Malley at the fighter hotel Vera answered quickly.
“I asked him to suck my d*ck,” he said.
“Simple as that. I’m not here to be friendly, I’m not here to be respectful, I’m not a karate guy. I’m a fighter so you f*ck with me I’m going to f*cking f*ck with you. I’m not f*cking around man.”
