Bangkok – ONE flyweight Jackie Buntan makes her return to the ring against Martine Michieletto at ONE Fight Night 20 on March 9 at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium sources tell Cageside Press.
Buntan (5-1) last fought at ONE Fight Night 10 last May making her way back to ONE action for the first time in 10 months. She’ll arrive at Lumpinee on a two-fight win streak with wins over Diandra Martin and Amber Kitchen.
Michieletto is vastly more experienced with over 50 professional bouts in kickboxing and Muay Thai. She last fought at ONE Fight Night 11 last August where she scored a decision victory over Kitchen.
The fight will be a 3-round Muay Thai fight at a catchweight of 130 pounds per sources.
The Filipino-American Muay Thai kickboxer Buntan has challenged for the ONE women’s strawweight Muay Thai title against current champ Smilla Sundell, but fell short via decision.
She was also a part of ONE Championship’s US debut when she fought in Denver, Colorado at ONE Fight Night 10 against Martin.
